SEDUCTION

the grass sways and shimmies

undulating in spring’s fertility

flowers lick the surface

in spurts of vermilion ecstasy

 

the sun’s heat lies heavy

drowning the earth in caressing warmth

deep into the lush and sprawling flora

his inticing penetration subdues the west wind’s sighs

 

sweet zephyr cool the throbbing plains

drenched in drowsy streams of light

embraced by seducing strokes

he weaves the molten, wanton earth
